Pastor Servando Gonzalez, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, was saved at an early age. At the age of 15, he was called to preach, and God permitted him to graduate in 2007 from Pastor Luis Ramos’ Bible College in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. After graduation, he ministered in his home church, Iglesia Bautista Independiente de Guadalajara, as assistant pastor to Robert Murillo. During this time he met Susanna Garlick, who would later become his wife. In 2009, after two years of ministering in his local church, he was ordained to preach. A few months later, after much prayer, God led him and his wife to Emmanuel Baptist Temple to start a Spanish department with His help.
