Psalm 71:18 - "Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed Thy strength unto this generation, and Thy power to every one that is to come."

Psalm 71 provides encouragement for us to keep living for God as we grow older, even though physically we become weaker. David’s prayer that he age gracefully contains three challenges to our hearts:

1. As you are aging, be a living proof of God’s faithfulness.
2. Be a pattern of following God’s will.
3. And be a powerful impact on future generations.

You see, before God you are responsible for your own life, your peers, and the generations to follow. Don’t let age excuse you from living for God; instead, age gracefully for God’s glory!
