Jeremiah 14:7 - "O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do Thou it for Thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against Thee."

Jeremiah carried a great burden for God’s people because of their backslidden condition – they simply did not love God the way they once did, and because of sin, they were less concerned about God’s work. What about in your life? Was there a time when you loved God more? A time when you served God and were faithful to church? Isn’t it time you come back to God? Come back in honest confession and humble dependence – God will heal and restore your life to a place of forgiveness and usefulness for His glory. Then true blessings can be showered upon your life as He sends refreshing to your soul.
