Job 24:13 - "They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof."

The Bible speaks of light as representing goodness or God’s path; whereas darkness speaks of evil or Satan’s path. Jesus is the Light of the world, the Bible is light for our pathway, and Christians are lights pointing to the Saviour. Yet there are those who rebel against that Light – they refuse to walk in truth. They reason that they will be the exception, not realizing there is a day of reckoning. Jesus said, “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.”
