Worship
An Experience for the Heart
Worship at EBT is a celebration of God's presence among His people. Distinguished by praise and preaching dedicated to bringing people into a face-to-face encounter with the living Lord Jesus Christ, worship is an experience for the heart. Worship is for all ages. The services are built around inspiring sacred music with the choir and Bible-based, life-oriented messages by Dr. Aikens. Insights from Dr. Aikens' messages are about living according to God's perfect plan. Bible truths that come alive during worship are taken home, to work, to school, and to play. Worship services take place in the on Sundays at 11:00 a.m., and 6:00 p.m. A Prayer and Praise Service on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. offers Bible study, praise and worship, and a time for intercessory prayer. Nursery Care is provided during the services.

Bible Classes
An Encounter with the Truth
Bible Classes at EBT provides a place of discovery for all ages. Through Bible study experiences, people of all ages discover divine truth that can be applied to life. They discover relationships which become a vital part of life. And they discover the joy of a growing, vibrant faith in Jesus Christ.
While a variety of Bible study opportunities are provided, none is as significant to the whole EBT family as the Sunday morning Bible Class program. Classes are provided for preschoolers through senior adults at 9:45 a.m. Usually, classes are built around a common age group. For adults, however, some classes are built around a stage in life. Friendly folks greet and guide guests to welcome areas strategically located in the building. Call 301/582-0378 for help in finding a class for yourself or a friend.

Each Wednesday night we have Master Clubs for boys and girls. During Master Club, children learn how to be saved and also how to live on their way to heaven. Not only is there an exciting game time, but children will also memorize verses from God's Word that will build a Christian foundation in their lives. In addition, they have the opportunity to earn various badges that help to reinforce the truths that they are learning.

Master Clubs
Emmanuel has a very active, structured Master Clubs program for children beginning at age three and continuing through the sixth grade. The core of the program is teaching scripture to boys and girls -- first to teach them the way of salvation and then to help them grow in their Christian life.
The boys and girls also learn practical living skills such as patriotism and courtesy to others. There are many committed adults who spend hours with the children both during church time and during outside activities such as campouts for the boys and sleepovers for the girls.

Youth A.L.I.V.E.
Providing Survival Skills for Today's Teens Training and equipping teens to know, stand for, and share the Truth is the awesome task of Youth ALIVE. Youth ALIVE stands for "Always Living in View of Eternity," and is the motto of our growing teen ministry. Under the leadership of Pastor Mike Pisney, the Youth Pastor, the teen ministry seeks to recognize and help meet the special challenges facing teens.
EBT provides a cutting edge ministry which appeals to them where they are, without ever compromising the truth of the Gospel. From junior high school through high school, the Youth ALIVE Ministry is extensive, providing a wide range of programs and activities to help teens grow in their faith. Each week many junior high and senior high teens get together at EBT to study God's Word, build each other up, and have a good time.
In addition to Sunday morning Bible classes and Worship Services, the teens meet for special training on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Mike also preaches a special Teen Church each Sunday morning at 11:00 AM which is specially geared for teens whose parents do not attend EBT.
Special events and getaways, such as monthly activities, after-church fellowships, camps, retreats, and mission trips, offer a great time to relax with old friends, meet some new friends, and draw closer to God and drawing closer to God is what the EBTeens Ministry is all about!
