Introduction

We live in a world that says, “It doesn’t matter what you believe, it just matters if you believe. As long as you are sincere, you will be okay.” But what does the Bible say?

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:8). The sum of sound doctrine is:

1. Salvation is all of grace – not by works. Heaven is only possible through Jesus Christ.
2. Salvation should result in separation from the world.
3. All saved people ought to be serving God in a Bible-believing, local church.

It does matter what you believe. Be sure that what you believe is founded upon the Word of God.
