| Please Don’t Break My Heart | ||
Acts 21:13 - Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. Introduction How important is it to you that God’s will be done in your life? For the Apostle Paul, the will of God would lead him to give his life for the sake of the Gospel; but no matter what lay ahead, Paul was fully surrendered. Message You see, Paul was facing grave danger, and Christians in every church were warning him not to go to Jerusalem. As much as he wanted to heed their warnings, Paul had dedicated his life to following God. So, he begged of the people, “Please don’t break my heart.” Understand and know that God’s will is more important than anything else we could ever desire. Does the will of God grip you like that? Have you surrendered your life to glorify God? |
