You will find that this is a mission-minded church which is seeking to carry the Gospel message of salvation to all people: both here at home, and unto the uttermost part of the earth as commanded by our Lord in Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8.
Our Place
Emmanuel Baptist Temple is an exciting place for worship, learning, edification, service, and fellowship. Our church is a friendly place, too, where you can find real friends. The kind you can count on no matter what. Finding friends like that can be a challenge. It might even seem impossible, but not at Emmanuel Baptist Temple! You see, we’re committed to being a Family of Friends.
Our Position
We are an independent Baptist church, standing for the verbal
inspiration of the Bible, the deity of Christ, His blood atonement,
salvation by faith alone, the eternal security of the believer, New
Testament soul-winning, and the pre-millennial, pre-tribulational return of Christ. We oppose modernism, worldliness, and formalism.
Our Purpose
-
Magnifying Jesus Christ through worship and the Word
"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:" Deuteronomy 6:5,6
-
Helping believers in Jesus Christ toward maturity and ministry
"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:24,25
-
Making Jesus Christ known to our neighbors and the nations
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:19,20
